Artists Climate Collective is dedicated to using the arts as a vessel to promote a positive impact in the fight against climate change. Our belief is that the arts have a unique emotional power to provoke people to think differently about the causal mechanisms and impacts of climate change. Through ACC, we hope to achieve this by uniting artists around this mission and amplifying their work that supports it. As artists, we hope to use our tools and abilities to support climate activists pushing this cause forward by donating the profits from our projects to their on the ground, community driven, and socially responsible organizations. See more information about this on our "donate" page.

ACC is a space for artists and art lovers to come together, form creative ideas, and make a difference!

WHO ARE WE?

We are three professional dancers who are seeking to inspire other artists and art lovers to get involved in the conversation on climate change.
MEET THE TEAM

Our Commitment to Fighting Systems of Oppression

The movement to empower anti-racism and intersectional activism in ballet is long overdue. We understand that we have been complicit in tools of oppression and recognize that ballet in of itself is a historically Eurocentric art form. Black ballerinas and dancers of other marginalized identities have long been excluded from the expected decorum of dance and to engage further in this art without this recognition is violence.

Moving forward, the members of ACC commit to recognizing and fighting our internalized biases that have supported racism and exclusion in ballet. We hold ourselves to these values and stand in full support behind movements that interrogate this disturbing reality.
