Brooke Gilliam

BROOKE GILLIAM is from Boulder, Colorado, and began her training at the Colorado Conservatory of Dance under the direction of Julia Wilkinson Manley. At 16, after attending the summer intensive, she was offered a merit scholarship to the Conservatory Program at Atlanta Ballet. From there, Brooke was a part of Atlanta Ballet 2 for two seasons performing leading roles in Bruce Wells’ Snow White and Beauty & the Beast, Robert Barnett’s Arensky Dances and Liam Scarlett’s Vespertine. Since joining the Company in 2018, some of her favorite repertoire and roles have included Alexander Ekman’s Cacti, Johan Kobborg’s La Sylphide, Dwight Rhoden’s Sunrise Divine and Yuri Possokhov’s Don Quixote, as well as the roles of Russian and Spanish in Yuri Possokhov’s The Nutcracker. One of her most memorable moments with Atlanta Ballet thus far was touring and performing The Nutcracker at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Brooke is excited for her third season with the Company.
