POETRY
Shahamat Uddin

“Just in my lifetime, I have seen many places I’ve called home deteriorate and die due to the catastrophic effects of climate change. These communities deserve longevity and life. I hope that my spoken word piece serves to shine a light on the nature, homelands, and indigenous peoples losing everything because of the human caused and human preventable climate crisis. May we hold the powerful accountable and protect the vulnerable to create a sustainable world for us all.”
